While not strictly speaking the first sentence of Robert Jordan's The Eye of the World.. it is the first sentence of the first chapter. And it's repeated in each book of the series. I have to say.. it's my favorite line ever because it encapsulates the whole series.

30 Days of TV - Days 23-26
Jun. 14th, 2010 11:14 amSo yeah, I had a crappy crappy weekend.. harddrive failure! I should've atleast done my Friday post.. I have no excuse for that.

Day 23 - Most annoying character - Hrm.. this is a toughie. I don't find alot of annoying characters in my favorite shows.. but... I think I am gonna go with Ted on How I Met Your Mother. I know the show is his story... but I just find the character so annoying! I love Marshall and Lily, I love Barney.. Robyn is a little meh at time, but Ted's just.. ugh, annoying person.
Day 24 - Best quote - There's lots of these.. but "Also, I can kill you with my brain.", River Tam, Firefly. Gotta love it.
Day 25 - A show you plan on watching (old or new) - I have so many of these.. I've recently caught a couple episodes of White Collar here and there.. I think I need to add this to my watching schedule, so yeah. White Collar!
Day 26 - OMG WTF? Season finale - Gonna go with this season and say Grey's Anatomy. I( Just in case of spoilers.. )

Day 22 - Favorite series finale - This is such a toughie. I didn't feel resolved with Buffy or Angel's finales, though they were very good. Firefly never got a finale. Keen Eddie didn't get a finale. I did enjoy Dollhouse's but I'm not sure if was my favorite. Legend of the Seeker's was really good, even if it took two seasons to get something that was important in the first book! The Sarah Connor Chronicles wasn't a series ender, it was a season ender and Fox broke my heart yet again (why do I like watching their shows if they're gonna do that..), The O.C. had a good sendoff actually. Even if it really lost its way into season 3.. Lost's wasy pretty good. Both Stargates had no closure for me..Veronica Mars.. I wanted more. I don't think I have a favorite series finale. So yeah. That's my answer to that.
