New TV viewing - Fringe

So I finally got around to watching Fringe - only a day or so late.. and it was good. Really good. Like, I'm scared Fox is gonna realize and cancel them. (cause that happens whenever I REALLY like a Fox show). I'm looking forward to the next one now.
AND OMG MARK VALLEY. Okay, done with the all caps'ing. Maybe. I really don't want to spoil people.. Maybe I should figure out how to do spoiler stuff. Anyways, Mark Valley. I've loved this actor for a long time and I really hope that despite the end, this becomes a recurring character (hey, it's Abrams, he's like Whedon. No one's REALLY gone - see I lied on the all caps). Would be awesome if they brought him back.
Joshua Jackson was pretty good in the role. I mean okay, I'm always imagining Pacey (god, I have to get Dawson's Creek out of my head when I watch this guy) - but he does a fairly good job of the character.
John Noble though, wow, this guy really makes the show. His character is funny and smart and not a stereotypical geek type at all! Love him.
I'm also looking forward to seeing more of Lance Reddick. Guy is just creepy on Lost, and he's creepy on here too. I think there'll be lots more unravelling on his character.
Anna Torv - to be honest, I think she's gonna have to grow on me. Okay, she's got the naivete-what the heck is going on here thing going on well... but.. I don't know. She's okay. Nothing particularly special, but she'll do I guess. I'd like to see a little more personality there. Maybe they'll get more into that in the upcoming episodes.
The plot itself, was well done. Plenty of intrigue - little bit of eeeew that I really wish I hadn't been eating my dinner during. Good setup started. I'm intrigued by Massive Dynamics and the talk of the pattern. Oh! And everything that Bishop and Bell had been working on! Also - love the cow. That's awesome. The recruitment into a different program, that's interesting too. So many questions! Darn you Abram and your conspiracies!
Anyways.. those are my thoughts on Fringe.
Please let Fox not cancel it.
